  1. 1966 Olds 442. Mine was a beast with a top end of 145 mph. It would also burn rubber going into 4th gear at 100 mph. Sure wish I still had it.

  2. My favorite Oldsmobile?
The 1964 F-85. Good looking car, well designed, engine well matched to the car drives and handles well. The supercharger addition was not a bad idea, just technology of the era was not as effective as it might have been.

Wish that I could find one, that I could afford today.

  3. MY first Oldsmobile was a graduation present: Beautiful 1962 F-85 in dark Metallic Blue, a White convertible top, Blue interior with front buckets, aluminum V-8, and 4-0n-the-floor. It also had special wheels and hub-caps. Sadly, I didn’t end up with any photos. What I do have are mental images of blowing the doors off many Fords, Pontiacs, and other wanna-be “hot cars” out on old Rt 66 near Bloomington, Ill.
