Happy Independence Day!

Hopefully you’re having a good 4th of July and I’ll keep the Question of the Day pretty straight forward.

So dear readers, What is your favorite American car?

Give us your take in the comments section. Like my high school history teacher always told me, “There are no wrong answers.”

My Take? 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS454 (LS6). It’s my all-time favorite car, preferably in black with white stripes.

  1. My red and white ‘66 Shelby GT350, and that’s partly because I can’t afford a ‘65 R model. It’s the car that started a whole genre. Others came along and did great things, but you can’t beat the original.

  2. Any C2 Corvette, my favorite now is a 65 coupe 327/350 4spd, 67-69 Camaro BB 4SPD, 66-70 Nova BB 4spd, 63 Ford Fairlane 427 4spd, 66-68 Plymouth GTX 4spd, 63 Plymouth Sport Fury 426 Wedge 4spd, 58 Chevy 348, 4spd. Yes I prefer to mix my own gears!
