In various forms the Dodge Charger has been on the market since 1966, with some gaps in production years. The Dodge Charger has been used for NASCAR stock cars, drag racing, street legal performance and now sedans with more than 700 horsepower.

So dear readers, What is your favorite Dodge Charger?

Give us your take in the comments section. Like my high school history teacher always told me, “There are no wrong answers.”

  1. I had a ‘70 Charger R/T SE 440 Magnum in B-5 Blue with white vinyl roof. I sure loved that car of all that I’ve had!

  2. I had the 1st 1969 Dodge Charger delivered to the dealership in Johnson City TN. in Sept. 1968. I ordered it off an order sheet before I even knew about the changes from the 68 R/T including split grill, rectangular sidelights and new taillights.
It was a 440 with Automatic and the first car I ever owned with A/C.
God, I loved that car and the 69R/T is still my favorite.

  3. 1975 Dodge Charger SE. I love it’s Cordoba like looks. And people don’t give it proper respect. Unique too see one today. The sister car the Chrysler Cordoba out sold it 3 to 1 in its brief 1975-1978 model period.
