Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 1965 Volkswagen Beetle.

“This Beetle has been owned by the seller for eight years and was repainted once in the reportedly original light blue color under previous ownership,” AutoHunter notes in the listing. “Features include U.S.-spec bumpers and lights, new body and window rubber, a roof-mounted basket with wood slats, rubber running boards, and a driver-side chrome mirror housing.”

The front bucket seats, rear seat and door panels are upholstered in white vinyl. It features a body-color steel dashboard with an AM radio, manual windows, black carpet, and a white vinyl headliner.

It’s powered by an upgraded 1500cc dual-port flat-four engine and the electrical components have been converted to run on 12 volts. The engine is paired with a four-speed manual transmission.

This Volkswagen Beetle rides on a set of original five-lug steel wheels finished in white and light blue, with VW-branded chrome hub caps and whitewall radial tires. It’s factory-equipped with a torsion bar independent front suspension and an independent swing-axle rear suspension.

The sale includes a clear Florida title.

This VW Beetle’s auction ends on May 17, 2022, at 12:20 p.m. (PDT).
