Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 1932 Chevrolet Deluxe four-door sedan.

“The frame-off restoration was started in the early 1970s and completed in 1995 by Charles Frantz of High Expectation Auto Restoration in Front Royal, Virginia. The body is finished in dark green and black with black fenders and cream accent stripes,” AutoHunter notes in the listing. “According to the seller, the wood framing in the body, doors, and roof is solid.”

The front bench seat, rear seat, headliner, and door panels are all re-upholstered in brown mohair. It features a cigar lighter, rear ashtrays, a factory clock, and rear window shades.

Under the hood is a 194ci inline-6 engine with a single-barrel carburetor, electric start, upgraded electric fuel pump, and a cast-iron intake. The engine is paired with a three-speed manual transmission.

It rides on refinished cream 18-inch wire wheels with chrome Chevrolet center caps, trim rings and 5.25/5.50-18 tires. The suspension has a solid front axle, a solid rear axle on a perimeter frame, and mechanical drum brakes.

The sale includes a clear Virginia title and service receipts.

This Chevrolet’s auction ends on May 16, 2022, at 12:20 p.m. (PDT).
