Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this frame-off restored 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air.

“This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe was built in March of 1957 in Baltimore, MD,” AutoHunter notes in the listing. “The body was professionally painted in the original Imperial Ivory (code 794) in 2000 and a frame-off restoration was completed by the seller in 2018. Features include chrome front and rear bumpers with bumper guards, full-length Bel Air side trim, dual headlights, rocker trim, dual rear antennas, and gold hood, trunk, and fender emblems.” 

The interior is finished in black and red, with reupholstered front and rear bench seats. It has an AM radio clock, Chevrolet-branded floor mats, and the trunk is refinished in white.

Under the hood is a Super Turbo Fire 283ci V8 engine with a 4-barrel carburetor and Power Pack heads. The engine is paired with a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission.

It rides on 14-inch steel wheels refinished in white with full Chevrolet hub caps and 205/75 Coker Classic whitewall radial tires.

The sale includes a clear Idaho title.

This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air’s auction ends on May 16, 2022, at 12:20 p.m. (PDT).
