Daniel Suárez: Volkswagen Aficionado

His love of Volkswagens started at a young age

-

NASCAR Cup Series driver Daniel Suárez is a devout classic Volkswagen collector and restorer. His love for car restoration started early when he helped his father repair cars in his shop and Daniel’s first car was a VW Bug.

The Monterrey, Mexico native started his stock car career in 2011 in the NASCAR Mexico and climbed the ranks as the NASCAR Xfinity Rookie of the Year in 2015 and then the series champion is 2016. He made his Cup Series debut in 2017 and currently races for the Trackhouse Racing Team.

Suárez and father still share that shop and the restorations continue.
