“This Firebird convertible from 1969 has a rust-free body that was taken down to bare metal and repainted in 2019 in Pull Me Over Red,” AutoHunter notes in the listing. “The retractable top and associated mechanisms were replaced along with all applicable seals. The body features LED front lighting, a new front air dam, and a rear spoiler.”
It rides on cast-aluminum 5-spoke 17-inch Year One Rally II wheels and the suspension uses Hotchkis front coil springs and a sway bar. This Pontiac has upgraded Wilwood calipers and disc brakes at all four corners.
The interior has reupholstered Parchment White vinyl seating with matching door panels, while the dash, carpeting and embroidered floor mats are finished in black. Amenities include a JVC stereo with Bluetooth, an auxiliary input, and a USB port.
Under the hood is a 347ci V8 engine with a Texas Speed & Performance short block, an LS6 intake manifold, PRC stage 2.5 LS6 CNC ported heads, and a Torquer V2 camshaft. The engine is paired with a console-shifted GM 4L60-E 4-speed automatic transmission and a Moser 12-bolt rear end.
The sale includes a clear Kansas title in the seller’s name, receipts, build documentation, a spare tire, and a floor jack.
