Ford Motor Company is pushing 119-years old and has given us numerous unforgettable cars. From Fairlanes, Mustangs, Rancheros and all the rest, there are too many Fords to properly list.
With so many choices, what is your all-time favorite Ford?
Let us know in the comments section below which Ford is your all-time favorite. Like my high school history always told me, “There are no wrong answers.”
My choice? 1965 Ford Mustang GT fastback.
My All-time favorite is a 40 Ford Deluxe coupe.
1964 Thunderbird
1980 Lincoln Mark IV
1969 Boss 429 Fastback
My favorite was my 65 Mustang GT Fastback, Dark Metallic Green, with white stripes! 289 4BL,with a manual trans! Now, I drive a Red / Black customized 2006 Mustang, with a modified 4.0 V6. Just as gutsy as the old stock 289!
1966 Shelby GT350
1969 Mustang Mach1 351 Windsor, C6 automatic.
I have to agree with the 69 Mustang Mach 1, 351, 390 or 429. I owned a 1973 351 Cleveland in high school and sold it after getting my first job out of college and bought a new car. Who knew back then what these cars would come to represent and their worth! I now own a 68 Mustang GT 390, as it was a good find and I restored it.
I like the ‘thirty-eight convertible, the ‘fifty-seven T-Bird, and the ‘fifty-nine convertible.
Gosh…My #1 Favorite Ford has to be a 1964-1965 Ford Falcon…!
My favorite is the 1962-1963 Thunderbird.
My favorite is a 1966 Fairlane 500XL 2 door hardtop. Sweet! Stacked headlights with a 390 ci 4 barrel, buckets with wraparound chrome trim, the good ole days!
The ’66 Mustang Fastback & Convertible models with the high performance 289. Both are works of art in their own right that started the mid-range price sports car market. The only reason I prefer the ’66 over ’65, is the gauge cluster, I prefer the round gauges.
1952 Ford Mainline,
My dad’s car
My high school rig, a 53 F-100 50th Anniversary Special
1968 Mustang GTA Fastback 390
67 Mustang fastback !
GT350H
GT350H
1967 Ford GT40 MKII
1932 Ford Sedan Delivery or a 1934 Ford Victoria.
I like the 57 ford fairlane 2 door no post, 57 t bird
Awesome cars
1966 gt350 convertible cause they are a beautiful car and they only built 4 that year
To many to mention. Cars of the early 70s back to the 20s are works of art. Modern cars maybe comfortable robots but are crap to look at.
1969 Mach1 428
My car in high school: ‘65 Mustang convertible, 289 w/four barrel, but not the HP version (225 horsepower), automatic, red with red interior! Sold it for $500 as a 9 year old car in 1974! What a mistake!
I had two 1957 F100 trucks. My favorite was the first, I was the third owner and it had the big rear window which is rare.
1956 Ford Sunliner and 1956 Ford Black two door hardtop. My 56 hardtop has a Mustang drive train and 1958 Ford rear end.
There’s more than one favorite Ford for me but of course, there’s always one more that I can’t afford. One such Ford is the 1964 Fairlane Thunderbolt. The factory race car that beat all others!
My Favourite is the 1955 Thunderbird. I was 14 years old at the time that they came out.
What would it go for in decent shape now? $50,000 to a $100,000? More?
The responders are all young except for the last. The 55 is great, but the 57 Thunderbird was and is the best.
40 Ford, 57 Thunderbird, 63 Thunderbird Sports Roadster, 65 GT 2+2 ( it is not called a fastback) Mustang, 67 Shelby GT 500.
1958 Ford Fairlane 500 2 door hardtop
There’s more than one favorite Ford for me but of course, there’s always one more that I can’t afford. One such Ford is the 1964 Fairlane Thunderbolt. The factory race car that beat all others!
The ’63 1/2 Galaxies fast or notchback roof. 2nd is the ’68/’69 Sportsroof Torino GT. For FoMoCo but not Ford, the ’64 S55 Mercury Marauder.
‘40 Ford
Early Bronco
Continental MK II
1965 Fastback Mustang, it’s the first true sports car Ford introduced. Very Clasic lines.
Road Warrior Interceptor. Good for grocery runs and the apocalypse. What more could you need?
40 Ford delux coupe and 64&65 falcon sprints, convertibles and ranchero’s
i owned my 1ST car a 1934 FORD V 8 roadster, with fold down windshield!
was my favorite!
Ford Model A (1928-1931)
