“This 1965 Ford Mustang is reportedly a GT coupe powered by an A-code 289ci V8 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission,” AutoHunter notes in the listing. “It was built in May of its model year and has been driven 2,500 miles.”
The refinished Rangoon Red exterior is complemented by GT emblems, rocker decals, fog lamps, and a dual exhaust system with polished outlets.
This Mustang GT has a refurbished interior with reupholstered red vinyl low-back bucket seats and matching door panels, carpeting, and center console.
It rides on styled 14-inch steel wheels with red center caps and BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised white-letter tires.
Under the hood is an A-code 289ci V8 with a 4-barrel carburetor that produced a factory-rated 225 horsepower when new. It has a new aluminum radiator and DieHard battery. The engine is paired with a console-shifted 4-speed manual transmission.
The sale includes a clear Florida title, car cover and an owner’s manual.
