“This 1962 Chevrolet Corvette convertible has been driven 1,600 miles since receiving a documented body-off restoration in 2015 by a Corvette specialist in Florida,” AutoHunter notes in the listing. “The seller has owned the vehicle for seven years and has included documentation encompassing the depth of this build, including overhauls to the braking system, chassis, engine, and interior.”
The exterior is repainted Sateen Silver with a black cloth retractable top and features a dual exhaust system.
A reupholstered red interior has room for two with vinyl bucket seats. Amenities include a push-button radio and an analog clock.
Under the hood is a small-block 327ci Turbo-Fire V8 engine that received mechanical service in 2015. The water pump, exhaust manifold gaskets, thermostat and gasket, distributor cap and battery were amongst the components replaced.
The engine is paired with a rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission.
This Chevrolet Corvette’s auction ends on March 21, 2022, at 12:20 p.m. (PDT).
It rides on 15-inch steel wheels with bright covers and faux spinners. The wheels are wrapped in 215/70-series Ironman whitewall tires.
