The Bicester Heritage Scramblers club, sponsored by Hagerty and 6,300-members strong, recently staged its first event of the season and has announced its 2022 calendar.

“Born from the success of the site’s Scramble events, Scramblers hosts exclusive themed events for members on the final weekend of each month, celebrating a variety of themes from British Classics to Le Mans, Festive Fourwheelers and Rally cars to date,” the club said in its news release.

“Still within its first year of inception, the club now boasts over 6,300 members, who have signed up via the wearescramblers.com website, home to film, photography and quality writing about Bicester Heritage and the industry it supports.”

At its January event, the Scramblers unveiled its new membership headquarters, in Bicester Heritage Building 94.

Upcoming dates and themes:

February 27: “Hagerty in the Hangar” featuring 1990s vehicles

March 27: “Type R”

April 24: “Curated Scramblers”

May 29: “American cars/Indy 500”

June 26: “Transformers”

Bicester Heritage is a former World War II Royal Air Force bomber station that has been transformed into a classic vehicle center with 45 specialist workshops.
