NASCAR driver Daniel Suarez to host classic car TV show

The show explores the unifying passion of classic cars between people from different walks of life

-

NASCAR Cup Series driver Daniel Suárez is hosting a new multiplatform series, United We Drive, on A+E Network’s DRIVE block. The series will dive into the stories of people who have experienced the unifying passion of classic cars and how this shared love of cars can unite people from different races, genders and socio-economic status.

“The original concept for United We Drive came from a classic car enthusiast who found that his love of classic cars created lasting friendships in seemingly unlikely places,” said Christian Murphy, head of Enthusiast Brands at A+E Networks. “His story and the others featured in the series will surprise viewers, and hopefully teach us all something about finding common ground.”

Suarez, who drives the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro for Trackhouse Racing, was the first foreign born driver to win the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship (in 2016), the first Mexican driver to win the NASCAR Xfinity Series Sunoco Rookie of the Year award (in 2015), and the first graduate of NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program to win a NASCAR national series title.

The limited series will broadcast a pair of 30-minute episodes back-to-back on February 3 on FYI.
