Up for auction on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1936 Ford 5-window coupe.
“This steel-bodied 1936 Ford 5-window coupe was purchased from a private collection by the selling dealer and used as a display in an indoor automotive event venue,” AutoHunter notes in the listing.
The red exterior is complemented by brightwork, chrome front and rear bumpers, and body-color running boards. It features a top-mounted single windshield wiper, a two-panel horizontal grille, and a matching rear panel that opens to utilize the rear rumble seat.
A custom white vinyl interior has a front bench seat, fold-out rear rumble seat, and pleated door panels. It features Vintage Air air conditioning, a floor-mounted automatic shifter and a three-spoke banjo-style steering wheel.
It’s powered by a 350ci V8 Chevrolet engine paired with a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission. The engine was rebuilt in November 2021 and was upgraded with headers, an Edelbrock 1406 carburetor, automatic choke, and a Weiand intake.
This Ford is being offered with a clear Michigan title and the auction ends on January 19, 2022, at 11:40 a.m. MST.
Where and can I place a bid on the 36 coupe? Thanks, Dan.
