Up for auction on AutoHunter, the online auction platform by ClassicCars.com, is a 1970 Plymouth Road Runner.
“This performance coupe received a top-to-bottom refresh that encompassed body and paint work, a modernized interior, 18” aluminum wheels, a disc braking system, and an overhauled suspension,” AutoHunter notes in the listing.

The engine is paired with Chrysler A-727 TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic transmission with a Gear Vendor overdrive unit and power is sent through a positraction Dana 60 rear end.
The car rides on a custom suspension with Moog front components, reinforced lower control arms, Firm Feel upper control arms, and Disc-O-Tech front disc brakes.
The custom black interior was upgraded from the original bench seat and column-shift set up to bucket seats with a center console. It features a VintageAir air conditioning system and a RetroSound radio.

I’d want one of those pistol grip shifters. It would add a very serious/ ominous look.
I love the retro Road Runner
