AutoHunter Spotlight: 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS

Restored sports coupe powered by a 394cid V8

Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS sport coupe which recently underwent a body-off restoration with a focus on originality and authenticity.

The body has been resprayed in its original color of Madeira Maroon and features the ’67-only vent windows, a black stripe around the nose, a vented hood, and SS badging on the grille.

According to the seller, the reverse lamps do not work. A car cover is included in the sale.

The interior is trimmed in black vinyl with a color-matching center console, door panels and dash pad. The original AM radio has been restored to like-new condition, but is not installed.

Power comes from a 396cid big-block V8, which was dynamometer tested at 366 horsepower after a professional overhaul in 2019. The engine links to a replacement Muncie 4-speed “Rocker Crusher” manual transmission.

This Camaro’s auction ends November 23 at 12:00 p.m. MST.
