Up for auction on AutoHunter, the online auction house driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1967 Ford Mustang convertible powered by a numbers-matching 289cid V8 linked to a 3-speed automatic transmission.
“Ford altered the styling of the Mustang for the 1967 model yar by introducing a larger overall size, concave taillights, a side scoop, and other aesthetic changes,” AutoHunter notes on the pony’s listing.
This example is finished in red with a white power convertible top and features GT fog lights, remote drivers mirror, a pony badge inside the chrome-ringed grille and a trunk-mounted luggage rack.
It rides on 14-inch factory wheels with Mustang center caps that are wrapped in Goodyear Integrity whitewall tires.
The all-red interior is equipped with reupholstered vinyl bucket seats with chrome accent striping found on the door panels, dash and center console. Interior amenities include floor mats, a factory AM/FM radio, air conditioning and a wood-rimmed GT steering wheel.
The five-digit mechanical odometer readers 61,670 miles, although true chassis mileage is unknown.
This Mustang’s auction ends November 8 at 12:00 p.m. PDT.
