A 1967 Ferrari NART Spyder from the Florida-based Rare Wheels Collection was awarded Best of Show honors Sunday at the second Chattanooga Motorcar Festival.
“Luigi Chinetti’s vision was to have the top go down on a 275,” Wayne Carini said as he presented the award. “They made 10 of these cars. It is probably the only silver one that was built. This deserves best in show.”
The Best of Show Ferrari also won best in class for the Ferrari Competition Cars group was part of a special “Gathering of the Greats — Ferrari Edition” showcase that included a 1948 166 Spider Corsa, a 1954 250 Monza, and a 1985 288 GTO.
