Up for auction on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray that’s one of 22,129 built for the 1969 model year.
According to the seller, this coupe rolled off the line on April 1, 1969 finished in Monza Red wearing a chrome one-piece front and two-piece rear bumper, body-color T-tops and a removable rear window.
The rear end features an integrated spoiler and a pair of dual taillights separated by a Corvette badge.
While this Stingray originally came equipped with a vinyl interior, it’s since been upgraded to black leather. The matching black dashboard includes a 3-spoke steering wheel that’s connected to aftermarket power steering, a Delco AM/FM radio and storage pockets on the passenger side.
Power comes from an L36 427cid V8, rebuilt in 1993, and linked to a 4-speed manual transmission. According to the seller, the engine draws starting power from a “fairly new battery.”
This Corvette’s auction ends October 11 at 12:20 p.m. PDT.
