Up for auction on AutoHunter, the online auction site driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1963 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova that was the recipient of a restoration that included a repaint in white, a reupholstered interior and the addition of a coilover suspension.
“The compact Chevy II model first debuted in 1962 on the X-body platform, using semi-unibody construction and being offered in a variety of styles,” the auction house says in the convertible’s listing.
This second-year-model example repainted in white features a black retractable top and refinished brightwork for the bumpers, long horizontal grille, trim, window surroundings and badging.
The interior houses reupholstered bright red vinyl bench seats that are color-matched to the metal dashboard where you’ll find a Sparco leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel and push-button radio.
Power comes from a 194cid inline-6 topped with a chrome-finished air cleaner and connected to a 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission.
The odometer shows 78,890 miles, although true chassis mileage is unknown.
This Chevy II Nova’s auction ends August 24 at 11:40 a.m. PDT.
