After taking a long year off due to world events, ClassicCars.com is returning to in-person events and offering a free guided auction-site tour hosted by Andy Reid during Monterey Car Week.

The tour will take place Wednesday, August 11, and will visit the site of the Bonhams auction at The Quail Lodge in Carmel Valley, beginning at 11 a.m.

The Bonhams tour is open to a maximum of 25 people, so act fast and secure your spot by registering in the form below.

Reid is the ClassicCars.com Journal’s East Coast editor and auction expert. He bought his first car — a 1968 Fiat 124 — when he was 15 years old, and his second, on which he squandered his college savings, a 1966 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2. Since then, he’s owned more than 150 collector vehicles, including motorcycles.

He not only knows the vehicles but has wonderful stories about his experiences behind the wheel — and under the hood. He will also share some of the ins and outs of buying and selling at auction.

Some of the spectacular lots Reid will be discussing include a 1974 Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 TT 12, a 1952 Ferrari 212 Europa Cabriolet with Coachwork by Ghia, and a 1959 Corvette Fuelie that has been a racing car from new.

The tour is offered free of charge, though registration is required.
