Up for auction on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1981 Chevrolet Corvette coupe with just 37,134 original miles on the odometer.
“First launching in 1968, the C3 experienced a variety of updates leading into its final years, and 1981 was the final year for the manual transmission of that generation,” the auction states in the Corvette’s auction listing.
This example is finished in beige and features the iconic pop-up headlamps, removable glass T-tops, a ducktail spoiler and a dual exhaust system using Super Turbo mufflers.
Remove the T-tops and you’ll find a brown-vinyl interior accented with a black enter console. The interior is also equipped with power windows, air conditioning and a radio.
Power comes from a 350cid V8 with a chrome-finished air cleaner, an Edelbrock intake and performance heads connected to a 4-speed manual transmission.
This Corvette’s auction ends July 13 at 12:40 p.m. PDT.
