I live in the wonderful yet overheated city of Phoenix, Arizona where drivers seem to think turn signals are optional, intentionally blocking cars from passing in the left lane is heroic and going 20 miles per hour over the speed limit is the norm.
While I may think Phoenix has some of the craziest drivers, analysts over at QuoteWizard, an insurance service providing end-to-end solutions for insurance shoppers and agents, sat down and did the research to determine which U.S. cities actually have worst and the best drivers.
After analyzing over two million car insurance quotes from 70 of America’s largest cities, QuoteWizard evaluated each city on four factors to help determine overall driver quality. These factors include the number of accidents, speeding tickets, DUIs and other citations like running a red light or texting and driving.
