Currently up for auction on AutoHunter, the premier online auction destination driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 1939 Ford Deluxe Coupe hot rod built with a Pontiac 400cid V8.

The all-steel body wears airbrushed flames on the nose and features chrome brightwork for the bumpers, grille and mirrors, and stainless steel side trim and running boards.

A red vinyl bench is up front with a custom Ford Thunderbird wrap-around seat behind. The black metal dash matches the exterior.

Other amenities include air conditioning and a modern AM/FM/CD stereo system.

The Pontiac 400cid small-journal V8 is paired with a 3-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission. The engine features blue metallic paint, a chrome air cleaner and an Edelbrock intake manifold.
