AutoHunter Spotlight: 1954 Chevrolet 150 Handyman Wagon

Restored wagon with new 350cid V8 engine up for auction

-

It’s the season for wagons over on AutoHunter, the premier online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com. The other day we spotlighted a 1953 Ford Mainline Ranch Wagon and today we’re featuring this 1954 Chevy 150 Wagon.

1954 Chevrolet 150 Handyman Wagon

This Wagon was restored and refinished in period-correct white over Horizon Blue with extensive chrome brightwork, including a nine-tooth 1954 bespoke grille, “Dagmar” bumpers, taillight bezels and dual exhaust tips. Fender skirts with black fender guards cover the rear wheels.

The interior matches exterior with a blue dash, white and blue vinyl seating and navy-blue carpeting. A floor-mounted B&M T-shifter was added by the seller.

You’ll find additional upgrades on the dash, including a tachometer, water temperature and oil pressure gauges, voltmeter, and a Pioneer head unit.

The Wagon’s power comes from a 350cis Chevrolet V8 and is sent to the rear wheels by a 200-R4 4-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission were installed during the restoration and have about 5,300 miles.

The auction ends February 12 at 11:45 a.m. MST.
