Recently refinished Blazer with upgraded 350cid engine up for auction


If you head on over to AutoHunter, the online collection car auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, you’ll find this 1986 Chevy Blazer. It’s powered by a recently installed 5.7-liter V8 backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission and 2-speed transfer case.

The body was recently refinished in Maroon Metallic and is equipped with a white removable rear hardtop. You’ll also notice polished trim along the side of the body and a brushed trim panel tailgate special to the Silverado trim package.

According to the seller, the interior is mostly original, minus the front bucket seats and maroon carpeting. The dash features brushed aluminum trim along with a fitted maroon cap over the original gray pad. Additional components include an aftermarket AM/FM radio, air conditioning and manual roll-down windows.

The factory 305cid V8 has been replaced with a 350cid V8 engine, installed about 2,000 miles ago. The odometer reads 149,000 miles, which is the original mileage on the body,.
