Brumos Collection Assistant Manager Aaron Israel explores the 918 Spyder

The Video of the Day takes us inside the fabulous Brumos Collection in Jacksonville, Florida, with the latest installment of the Inside the 59 video series, the name referencing the Brumos 59 motorsports brand.

This episode explores two Porsche supercars of different eras, each of them groundbreaking cars that raised the bar for technology and performance: the 1986 Porsche 959 and the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder.

The video is hosted by Brandon Starks, executive director of the collection, a 35,000 square-foot interactive museum that opened in January.

“With help from Brumos Collection director Don Leatherwood, Starks will offer perspectives on the 959’s historical significance, as well as its notable achievements,” according to a news release. “Starks and Brumos Collection assistant manager Aaron Israel will take a look at the 918 Spyder’s unique battery-only function, discussing its profound influence on technological planning for vehicles that will be introduced in the years ahead.”

Past Inside the 59 videos can be found on the Brumo Collection’s Facebook page, Instagram and YouTube.
