Bronco. We have driven them, watched them race, watched them in the most notorious police chase in history. They are a genuine part of Americana – and we as Americans love them.
It could easily be said that it wasn’t the Jeep but the Bronco that was the fuel to the fire of our population’s obsession with SUVs. To answer a cry for “Bring back the Bronco,” Ford will release a redesigned Bronco for the world to devour in 2021.
So, for all of you fans of the bucking-horse emblem, we have curated, with the help of our very bright intern, Lauren Hackett, all of the stories that we have ever written about Bronco in our eight year history as an automotive news outlet.
ClassicCars.com Journal’s Bronco Stories
Bronco has certainly given us a lot to write about. The amazing prices that they have brought in private sales to auctions; the passion for the marque; the aftermarket parts available; the tuner companies driving restomod versions. Yep. It’s all there for you to love and absorb.
I could go on and on, but Bronco is the trend right now, so you will want to stop reading this gobbledygook and get on to the serious articles. Pay particular attention to Larry Edsall’s questioning of “Why are these vehicles bringing so much money?”
Needless to say, we have written much about the Ford SUV over the years. Considering the pedigree of this editorial staff (that is until I got here), they know their cars and Broncos – whether they are questioning the hype or touting the glories of the off-road legend.
Either way, I hope you enjoy the fruit of our intern’s labor.
To put it bluntly I’m sick to death of everything bronco, bronco, bronco! They are the next overpriced toy of the idle rich. And I hope when they do finally come out that their new owners will enjoy the myriad first model year problems and recalls.
Truly the huge downside of social media and the web is giving people like Mr Cullen a space to grouse on about any old thing that sets him off, especially if he can do it within a community of people he knows are gathered there in their affection for it.
Unfortunately you aren’t quite sick to death 🙂
Edward Cullen be nice, you don’t like Broncos that’s ok! But why do you read about them? There are Bronco fans and this is what this post is for. Lighten up!
Cullen is probably a Chevy guy and not happy about what they turned the Blazer into.
Cullen is a crank who wants to rain on people’s parade. Broncos are cool. People love them!
Tom Hofmann is likely correct, the Blazer is long-dead, but the Bronco lives on, even gaining new life! I bet Mr. Cullen is a closet Bronco fan
My older brother and I enjoyed the bronco he had purchased back in the 70s, enjoyed the back roads and the hunting we did from it. I will take a long hard look at what they release in 21 and judge at that point. I feel when you enjoy UTV’s jeeps off roading and that world you are open to any new options. And that is without deep pockets. So those of you feel you must bully get a grip.
