The Revs Institute (nee Collier Collection) recently reunited racer Gerard Larrousse with the 1967 Porsche 911R that he drove to victory in both the Tour de France and the Tour de Corse in 1969.

Larrousse, who recently celebrated his 80th birthday, competed in sports car racing, rallying and Formula One during his career. He also was team manager for Renault and founded his own F1 team in the late 1980s and into the mid-’90s.

He also drove in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race from 1967-74, taking overall honors twice — co-driving a Matra-Simca with Henri Pescarolo in 1973 and 1974 — after winning his class in 1969 in a Porsche 908 with Hans Herrmann.
