Uniquely spec’d 2017 Ford GT is Pick of the Day

-

One of our practices here at the ClassicCars.com Journal is to exclude from Pick of the Day consideration cars that are advertised on ClassicCars.com‘s Marketplace without an asking price. But sometimes a car is so significant that we can’t ignore it.

That’s the case today as the Pick of the Day is a 2017 Ford GT, one of the latest Ford supercars. The car is advertised by a dealer in Huntington Station, New York, and instead of a price, the car apparently will be sold for “Best Offer.”

With the limited-edition supercar selling for 7-figure prices at major collector car auctions, we’re guessing that anyone interested in buying this car would need very deep and well-filled pockets.

The dealer notes that the car is a 1-of-1, the only 2017 Ford GT in Liquid Ice Blue with a Re-Entry interior featuring white leather accents and black Alcantara seats and black carpeting. Without revealing a name, the dealer adds that the car is owned by a celebrity and has been driven only 800 miles.

The car is equipped with a list of factory options including

6-point harness anchors, Frozen White overtop stripes, exterior carbon fiber package, silver brake calipers, 20-inch Gloss-painted forged wheels with titanium lug nuts and a titanium exhaust by Akrapovic.

The engine is a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 boosted to 647 horsepower, good for a 0-60 sprint in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 216 mph.

“This Ford GT is in exceptional, like-new condition throughout,” the dealer assures. “It is complete with its original books, tools, keys and remotes, Ford Performance trickle charger, original window sticker, tire compressor, color swatch palette, car cover and service records.

“This GT also includes a custom watch in conjunction with Autodromo.  The watch was created as part of a Ford GT owner’s edition chronograph collection between Autodromo and Ford.  The watch colors specifically match the Liquid Ice Blue and White stripes of this GT.”

The dealer adds that the remainder of the Ford factory warranty comes with the purchase.
