Historic Sportscar Racing sets 2020 schedule

Vintage racing group Historic Sportscar Racing has announced its 2020 schedule, which will include “second editions” of three events staged for the first time in 2019. 

The second-edition events include the HSR Spring Fling, March 26-29 at Sebring International Raceway in Florida; the HSR/HMSA Barber Historics, featuring a Formula Car Festival, May 15-17 at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama; and the HSR Ridge Runner Rally, a Great Smoky Mountains road tour scheduled for June 22-25.

The 43rd HSR Mitty vintage races are set for April 23-26 at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta with the Chevrolet Corvette as the featured marque. The event also will include historic stock cars. 

The vintage series visits Circuit Mont-Tremblant in Quebec, Canada for the 16th Sommet des Legends, held in partnership with HMSA on July 16-19.

After its traditional summer break, HSR resumes its 2020 schedule September 24-27 with the Atlanta Fall Historics, followed by the 6th HSR Classic Daytona set for November 4-8 and the 5th HSR Classic Sebring “Pistons and Props” on December 3-6.
