Lotus unveils 2020 Evora GT for North America

Lotus has unveiled its 2020 Evora GT for sale in North America. The car replaces the Evora Sports 410 and Evora 400 in the company’s lineup and is being touted as the most powerful road-going Lotus for the United States and Canada with a 0-to-60 mph sprint in 3.8 seconds en route to a top speed of 188 mph.

Base price is $96,950.

The Evora GT is propelled by am Edelbrock-supercharged 3.5-liter 6-cylinder engine rated at 416 horsepower and with 317 pound-feet of torque. The engine can be linked to a manual or automatic transmission.

The car can be ordered as a 2-seater or with a 2+2 configuration.

Lotus said the car not only was designed to be light in weight, but to provide maximized downforce for enhanced dynamic capabilities.
