Omologato launches Fiorano, Formula E chronographs

-

British watchmaker Omologato has introduced two new designs, one honoring the Ferrari test track and the other in conjunction with a team racing in the Formula E electric-powered grand prix series.

The Fiorano Chronograph is named for the famed test circuit near Maranello, Italy.

Omologato said each of the watches is individually numbers and is finished with flat sapphire-coated glass over a crimson red dial. The watch case is 316L stainless steel. The watches will be available in late July.

The DS Techeetah Chronograph has a matte-finish dial with gold and red highlights like those of the DS Techeetah Season 5 DS E-Tense FE19 racing cars.  DS Techeetah is a French-Chinese effort with drivers from France, Germany and England.

The watches, which are waterproof to 30 feet, are being worn by all racing team personnel as part of a limited-edition run of 100 First Editions.

All Omologato watches have Japanese-made Meca-Quartz movements.

The First Edition Techeetah and Fiorano watches are priced at £335 ($435).
