With a 2006 Ford GT leading the way, Mecum Auctions concluded its 2018 sales season with an $8.7 million event in Kansas City.
The Ford sold for $308,000 and was the only six-figure sale of the weekend.
Mecum noted that seven of the top-10 sales were Chevrolets, and four of those were Corvettes. However, the top-selling Chevy was a 1967 Camaro at $77,000.

Mecum launches its 2019 sales calendar with its annual Kissimmee, Florida, auction scheduled for January 3-13 when 3,500 vehicles and more than 3,000 lots of Road Art are expected to be included in the docket.
