2019 Ferrari calendar includes sounds and smells

-

For its 35th anniversary edition, the 2019 Ferrari Myth calendar is more than a feast for the eyes. For 2019, the calendar not only features photography by Gunther Raupp and Karin Kaechel-Raupp, but also the smells and sounds of the cars that populate the calendar that measures 27 inches tall and 20 wide and is printed on heavy 170-pound archival paper stock.

Each of the monthly displays includes a scratch-and-sniff tachometer and there’s an accompanying app you can download to your smart phone to hear the sound of the engine of the featured vehicle of the month.

Cars featured for 2019 are the 2018 FXX-K Evo, 2018 488 Pista, 1958 250 Testa Rossa, 2018 Portofino, 1962 250 GTO, 2016 488 GTB, 2017 GTC4Lusso T, 1981 512 BB LM (photographed with its engine uncovered), 2018 488 Spider, 1968 275GTS4, 2016 488 GT3, 1962 250 California, and 2018 812 Superfast.

Only 5,000 of the calendars are printed and each is individually numbered. They are officially licensed by Ferrari and are available from Octane Press for $98.

Should the size of the calendar or its price be a bit too much for you, also available from Raupp Design is the official 2019 Scuderia Ferrari calendar.

Presented in landscape format, the racing calendar measures 24 x 17 inches and is printed on 115-pound archival paper. Images on the calendar show Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel racing at various venues during the 2018 season.
