1960 Ferrari 250 GT coupe is top seller at Bonhams auction in Italy

-

A 1960 Ferrari 250 GT Series II coupe led the sales list at Bonhams’ second Padua Auction staged this past weekend in Italy, where the car sold for $578,378.

‘We enjoyed our second sale here at Padua, and were delighted to see such a busy salesroom with so many keen international bidders,” said Gregor Wenner, a Bonhams specialist and organizer of the auction, held at the Auto e Moto d’Epoca collector car weekend.

“The top lots achieved strong prices that reflect a stabilizing market, and we look forward to continued success at our next auctions in November and December.”

Bonhams stages its London to Brighton Run auction on November 2, it’s Bond Street sale on December 1 and it’s London Olympia auction on December 3 before opening its 2019 sales calendar at Scottsdale, Arizona, and on January 24 with its annual motorcycle auction at Las Vegas.
