Being offered with a pre-auction estimated value of €550,000 to €750,000 ($717,350 to $980,000), the 1937 BMW 328 was sold near Dusseldorf in July 1937 and is offered with its full recorded history, including racing provenance from the 1950s. Artcurial said the car recently has undergone restoration and retains its original body.

The docket also includes four Facel Vegas, all coming from the same collection. The cars are a 1962 Facel II, one of only 183 produced; a 1961 HK500 that is one of 227, equipped with disc brakes, and presented in conserved condition; a 1964 Facel III coupe; and a 1964 Facel III cabriolet.
