They’re out of production, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still buy a Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. Lot No. 706 is the 2,535th Demon built for North America.

It has only 5 miles on the odometer and has never been dealer-prepped.

Like all Demons, it has a 6.2-liter V8 under the hood with a giant supercharger that displaces 2.7 liters and is chilled by an intercooler and, believe it or not, by the car’s air conditioner in certain modes. The boost hits 14.7 pounds at launch.

It is the first production car to be equipped with a trans-brake and is capable of hitting 60 mph in a blistering 2.3 seconds.

This Demon was finished in Plum Crazy Purple and has a Pitch Black interior.

The accompanying Demon Crate will be drop-shipped to the new owner directly from Dodge.

Barrett-Jackson’s annual Las Vegas auction is scheduled for September 27-29 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

  1. The Challenger and of course all of its levels of performance and different trims made by Dodge and SRT were created as RETRO. What is “Retro” about this continuation of the (Batman) Black Wheels look ? The millennials who mostly can’t afford one of these in the first place, are the tribe that goes for that look. The 60’s guys and gals that are in their 60’s want Wheels that don’t look like 4 spare tires on a car.
