Barrett-Jackson countdown: 1966 Chevrolet Nova custom coupe

-

Lot No. 736 is a restomodded 1966 Chevrolet Nova that has receipts showing more than $325,000 spent building and customizing the car.

The custom coupe has a PPG Torch Red paint job with a tri-tone stripe over a one-off tan leather interior.

Custom details include a Schwartz tube chassis and suspension. The Nova also has 13-inch Wilwood slotted disc brakes at every corner, 18-inch forged wheels and a Concept One Truetrac engine drive kit.

Under the hood sits an LS V8 engine capable of 540 horsepower paired with an automatic transmission.

The final bow on the package? The reworked Nova has only been driven about 500 miles since it was rebuilt.

Barrett-Jackson’s annual Las Vegas auction is scheduled for September 27-29 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
