Ride along on a record-setting run at Bonneville

-

In August, Danny Thompson followed in his father Mickey’s footsteps, or tire tracks, by setting a speed record on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Danny updated his father’s 50-year-old Challenger 2 and set an AA/FS record for piston-driven vehicles, averaging 448.757 mph, pretty impressive for a vehicle half-a-century old.

The video is provided by Holley Performance, and by MSD and Racepak.
