Barrett-Jackson countdown: Custom 1973 Dodge Challenger

-

This resto-modded 1973 Dodge Challenger is powered by a 440ci big block Six Pack engine paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission with a pistol-grip shifter.

The car was finished in a silver exterior paint and has a black interior.  It also has custom one-off Intro wheels.

Like nearly 40 other cars that will roll across the block at the Mohegan Sun, the Dodge is from the collection of Brent Ashton, a 44-year-old Texas man who runs Diesel Displays. The company provides custom trade-show and retail displays.

“We pride ourselves in presenting quality collections to the best buyers in the collector car industry, and the collectors who are truly ready to sell their collections continue to seek out Barrett-Jackson for the best results,” Barrett-Jackson Chairman and CEO Craig Jackson said in a news release. “We strive to set the bar when we bring these collections to life at our events, and we’re excited to bring the Ashton Collection to Mohegan Sun for our 2018 Northeast Auction.”

Barrett-Jackson’s annual Northeast auction is scheduled for June 20-23 at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut.
