The Pick of the Day is a one-owner 1972 Volvo P1800E being offered by the brother of the original owner.
“My brother recently passed away and I’m selling it as part of the estate,” the private seller reports in the car’s advertisement on ClassicCars.com.
The brother adds that the car was purchased in Europe and was shipped back to the U.S. where it was garage kept.
“It was his pride and joy and he babied it,” the seller notes.
The car has been driven nearly 240,000 miles, but remember, there’s another P1800 out there that has been driven more than 3 million miles by its long-time owner, Irv Gordon.
The P1800E being offered is yellow with a black leather interior. The car has its original engine and a 5-speed manual transmission.
The asking price is $18,500 for the car, located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
The advertisement includes a copy of the appraisal of the car, which was done to meet the requirements of the probate court.
