This stunning 1970 Plymouth Superbird is one of 135 produced, and one of only 77 equipped with an automatic transmission.
Its solid provenance is validated with its original decoded fender tag, matching-numbers engine, most of the build sheet and all body stampings.This ‘Bird retains much of its original interior, including the original seats, door panels, instrument cluster, dash pad and headliner.
In addition to the original engine, it has the original carbs and distributor. It is powered by its original matching-numbers 426cid V8 and upgraded with the famed 18-spline A833 HEMI 4-speed manual transmission and stout 3:54 Dana rear end.
It has been repainted and comes with the original vinyl roof. It also comes with both original jacks. The sheetmetal is original and rust-free, and reproduction resonators show the Chrysler Pentastar. It rides on Goodyear Polyglas tires over Rallye wheels.
