Vintage Ford tractor tops Mecum Gone Farmin’ sale

-

Collector cars weren’t the only features on the docket for Mecum Auctions’ recent visit to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The auction house’s Gone Farmin’ division offered more than 130 vintage, collectible tractors at its Summer Showcase sale at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex.

Although no sales total was reported, Mecum did report a better than 80 percent sell-through rate for the tractors, topped by a 1929 Ford 9N with aluminum hood that hammered “sold” for $31,500. Prices reported by Mecum do not include buyer’s fees.
