For drivers and racers with boosted engines, Champion Brands, a longtime producer of specialty automotive lubricants, has revealed a new blend of 10W-40 Semi-Synthetic Racing Motor Oil that was made with dragsters, sprint cars, midgets, stock cars, late models, and pulling vehicles in mind.
The 10W-40 Racing Motor Oil works to provide racers with an increase in horsepower and torque by the oil’s use of Champion’s 60 years of industry experience and expertise blending over 350 fuel, oil, engine additives and various lubricants.
The oil utilizes the brand’s premium ZDDP anti-wear protection package that is formulated with high levels of zinc and phosphorus to protect flat tappet cams, roller cams and bearings in turbo and supercharged racing engines.
Additionally, the semi-synthetic formula provides a low coefficient of friction and uses Champion’s thermal viscosity stabilizer technology to accomplish film strength at high temperatures and the viscosity stability of thicker mono-grades to provide more compression and less drag. This combination can increase the torque in many engines.
The new motor oil is safe to use with all racing fuels, including those with methanol, and is compatible with other petroleum and synthetic oils.
Champions 10W-40 semi-synthetic racing motor oil will be made available in September.
