The Goodguys Rod and Custom Association returns to WestWorld of Scottsdale, March 10-12, for its eighth annual Spring Nationals, the kickoff event to a 20-event national show schedule.
The Scottsdale show should feature over 2,500 hot rods, customs, classics, street rods, and muscle cars made through 1972, as well as vendor exhibits –= including the Nitro Thunderfest dragster exhibition — a tractor-trailer midway, swap meet, car corral, and themed parking areas.
The show includes activities for children, such as the model car show, kids PPG Coloring contest, costumed characters, and sessions to build model cars.
Goodguys Autocross racing competition will be held for drivers to test vehicle agility and performance. On Sunday, beginning at 7 a.m., American-made and powered vehicles of any year can run the course and those that do, are eligible for the Show n’ Shine and awards.
Additionally, the show will include musical entertainment on Saturday and Sunday.
