Offered without a reserve at the 46th annual Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction, this 1955 Mercedes-Benz 190SL roadster is from the Charlie Thomas collection.
The 190SL is dressed in new Jet Black paint with a parchment leather interior complimented by wide whitewall tires and features new door panels, dash and carpet. The car’s look is competed with replated or replaced chrome and trim in addition to new rubber and weatherstripping.
All of the gauges in the car have been rebuilt with new bezels installed and the engine bay has been detaild. Also showcased in the engine bay is an original-style primered fuel pump that helps power the engine hooked to a two-speed manual transmission.
