I had a truck like this at age 20. I sold it to build a garage for my 1969 Z28 Camaro.
Thirty years later, at age 50, once all my kids had moved on, I wanted to find another one.
This truck was sitting in a garage with a cover on it for many years. It was in excellent condition, had no rust and was the Sierra Frande edition including wood-grain dash and door panels. It also has factory air, tachometer and sliding window. All the moldings and chrome are all original. The box had no dust or dents and looks new.
I did a frame off restoration. I have the original motor but I bought a zz383 crate engine, installed electronic ignition and serpentine belt system.
I drove it to a Back to the Bricks with over 500 cars. They have trophies for the top 25 and my GMC received one of them. This was a dream come true.
