A 1942 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Super Sprint Le Mans Berlinetta that won best of show at the Spa Italia concours last year is among the more than 80 collector cars being offered for sale Saturday at Coys’ inaugural auction at Germany’s Schloss Dyck.
“Classic Days at Schloss Dyck has become one of the most important events in the German historic motoring calendar,” Chris Routledge, Coys chief executive, said in a news release.
“We have a very exciting range of vehicles on offer which have already attracted interest from collectors from all four corners of the world,” he added.
In its news release, Coys noted that the Schloss Dyck is “Germany’s most glamorous and well-respected historic motoring event.”
Featured cars included the ’42 Alfa, a 1972 Ferrari Daytona driven only 500 kilometers since a five-year restoration, and a 1954 Porsche 356 Pre A Cabriolet once owned by the Swedish Royal Family.
Coys expects the Daytona to sell for $780,000 to $900,000, the Alfa to command $650,000 to $760,000 and the Porsche to go for $360,000 to $390,000.
