Having just finished a two-lap warm up in LeMans, France, courtesy of the French Alpine Club, and meeting Alpine enthusiasts at the LeMans Classic, we are this week touring Brittany and Normandy before the Alpine is shipped back to the USA.
A but the Alpine loves the ocean air here and is performing remarkably at speeds in excess of 140 kmh! Have to be careful and not receive a speeding ticket. Fortunately, the French love this automotive “National Treasure,” even in Red livery.
We are stopping at the American Cemetery to pay our respects to our beloved “Brothers -in-Arms” for their ultimate sacrifice.
As a veteran,I feel guilty driving my Alpine on this hallowed ground, I wish they could all be my ” navigateur” through this serene battlefield in Normandy.
